There once was a Dad.

There once was a Dad
Who used to hate his kids
And when they cried every night,
He didn’t pay a heed.

The kids all decided
That all Dads were the same
So then they bolted their door
And no sound ever came.

The kids realized,
Over the years,
That their dad was one of a kind
And their eyes filled with tears.

The kids all grew up
And they never ever cried
Not even when their neighbours
Said he got into a fight and died.

And at his funeral,
The kids all wondered
That it will bring back some feelings
That he had murdered.

It came as no surprise
When they didn’t feel a thing
There once was a Dad
Who hated his kids.
